Up until August of 2024 the inspiration for my pieces came from the Yorkshire Dales - to those who know it, an incredibly wild and beautiful part of this United Kingdom! I became inspired by the dramatic landscapes and started to experiment with the wet-felting technique (essentially 'painting with wool'). I carefully lay Merino wool tops and Blue-faced Leicester curls to create my pieces, each of which is entirely unique - I couldn't replicate them if I wanted to!

I have since re-located back down to my native Oxfordshire and have been rediscovering the quieter beauty of an entirely different kind of landscape - from the dramatic fells of the Yorkshire Dales to the gentle rolling hills of the Cotswold countryside - a world away but no less beautiful...
